Fire Extinguisher Maintenance
Protect your premises with regular fire extinguisher maintenance from Firepoint Services.
Fire safety equipment is only effective at saving lives and protecting property if it’s regularly maintained and serviced. It’s recommended that fire extinguisher servicing is carried out every 12 months by a third-party accredited engineer – such as our team here at Firepoint Services.
Our engineers are FETA-qualified and our standards of workmanship are continually improved. We’re also members of the UK Fire Association, CHAS and IOSH. With this strong foundation of knowledge and accreditation, you can trust in our engineers to deliver high-quality fire extinguisher maintenance that adheres to up-to-date legislation and standards.
During a servicing, you can expect:
- The annual service to be carried out in accordance with BS: 5306 Part 3 2009
- Fully-qualified and accredited service engineers
- All elements looked at, including tamper seals, blow out discs and labels
- Issue of a BS:5306 Certificate of Maintenance for every site
- Issue of a fire extinguisher location sheet that details all equipment serviced by make, model, size, capacity, year of manufacture and discharge test date
